In this role you will own and optimize a global Cisco UC and collaboration estate, ensuring voice and video services remain stable while driving automation and business-critical integrations. You will work across on-premises and cloud-knit UC components, coordinating upgrades, monitoring, and operational standards in a high-availability environment. You’ll shape tooling and automation to reduce repetitive work and resolve complex issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
Support and improve a global Cisco UC and collaboration estate
Manage changes, upgrades and configuration across voice, video and conferencing platforms
Troubleshoot SIP, SBCs, PSTN trunking, endpoints and call flows
Build automation around UC workflows
Support voice recording, compliance and messaging archive platforms
Integrate on-premise UC with Webex, Zoom, Teams and related services
Improve monitoring, alerting, documentation and operational standards
Key requirements
7+ years in voice, UC or collaboration engineering
Strong experience with CUCM, Cisco Meeting Server and Expressway
Good knowledge of SIP, SBCs and PSTN SIP trunking
Experience supporting Cisco phones, softphones and video endpoints
Strong troubleshooting and fault-isolation skills
Scripting or automation experience in Python, PowerShell or similar
Experience in a high-availability enterprise environment
