Commercial Litigator (0-3 PQE or more senior with complementary specialism)

Overview

In this role you join a growing commercial litigation team in the West Midlands to tackle high-value disputes across contracts, corporate issues, insolvency, insurance and more. You will run cases independently where possible and support partners on larger matters, with involvement in week- and month-long trials. You’ll manage client relationships directly and contribute to high-profile High Court work in a collaborative, mentoring environment. The firm supports your growth as you become a key player in the department. You’ll work on meaningful, complex litigation with real impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial litigation cases, including high-value disputes, independently when possible
• Support partners on complex, high-value matters
• Handle High Court litigation and multi-week to month-long trial work
• Manage clients and opposing parties directly
• Collaborate with senior colleagues on large cases
• Develop client relationships and contribute to case strategy

Key requirements

• 0-3 years PQE (open to more senior with complementary expertise)
• Hands-on litigation experience with ability to run cases and assist partners
• Experience in High Court litigation is advantageous
• Comfortable managing clients and opposing parties
• Proactive, confident approach and desire to grow into a key team member
