Electrical / Automation Engineer

Overview

In this role you contribute to a modern food manufacturing site by supporting and developing electrical and control systems. You will work closely with the engineering team to improve PLC/controls, HMI/SCADA, and drives while gaining hands-on Mitsubishi PLC training. You drive fault-finding and participate in design, installation, and commissioning of capital projects, shaping the site’s automation capabilities. This is a stable, long-term position with a company that invests in your training and development.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve site electrical/controls systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, drives)
• Fault-finding on plant issues and supporting the wider engineering team
• Continuous improvement and capital project support (design, installation, commissioning)
• Collaborate with production and engineering during project work and commissioning

Key requirements

• Electrical Engineer with some PLC/controls exposure or strong interest in developing into controls/automation
• Comfortable fault-finding and supporting production equipment
• Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience)
