Mid-Level C++ Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

In this role you will help build and scale cloud-based fintech services, taking ownership of features across C++, Python, and frontend TypeScript. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver secure, well-tested software and support AI/ML deployments. The position offers remote-first work within the UK, with autonomy to shape the product and contribute to a mission-driven company. You’ll work on modern tech stacks and cloud-based tooling to deliver impactful financial software.

Pay / Benefits

• 50k - 65k base salary

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C++ services, including AWS
• Build Python microservices and tooling
• Develop React / TypeScript applications
• Work with AWS, Docker, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
• Support the deployment and scaling of AI / ML services
• Write high-quality, tested and secure code

Key requirements

• Strong commercial C++ experience
• Professional experience with Python and ideally TypeScript
• Experience with AWS/cloud platforms
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices and CMake
• Strong Git, testing and Linux/CLI skills
• Experience with Cursor and/or Claude Code
• Comfortable working remotely and independently
