Senior Specialist, OPS Business Process Improvements/Best Practice

In this role you will analyze business needs and translate them into technical specs for IT projects. Responsibilities

• Analyze and define business requirements and functional specifications for small to moderate projects
• Define system scope and objectives and translate requirements into design, test plans, and user documentation
• Interface with IT to resolve issues and improve business processes
• Support functional design, user documentation, and testing activities
• Provide design support to development teams and guidance to less experienced colleagues
• Train users on new/enhanced applications and support testing activities
• Identify improvement areas and collaborate with technology teams to enhance applications
• Apply regulatory and corporate risk considerations to improve processes through technology

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Technical experience preferred
• Ability to interface with business and IT stakeholders
• Experience defining functional designs and user documentation
• Experience supporting testing and training activities
• Knowledge of risk and control considerations in technology-based processes
• Experience guiding junior colleagues
