Business Development Executive

Overview

As a Business Development Executive at Trelleborg, you will drive new business growth across Europe within healthcare and medical markets. Responsibilities

• Identify new customers and market opportunities across the UK and Europe
• Travel frequently to meet prospects, attend industry events, and conduct site visits
• Develop product understanding to articulate solutions to clients
• Capture and qualify leads and hand them into the sales pipeline
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, customer needs, and trends
• Build early-stage relationships with potential long-term partnerships
• Represent the company professionally and uphold its customer-focused values

Key requirements

• 0–3 years in a sales or business development environment or similar customer-facing role
• Experience in customer-facing settings (B2B or B2C)
• Ability to identify leads and build early-stage customer relationships
• Exposure to technical or industrial products a plus
• Willingness to travel frequently within UK and Europe
• Healthcare and Medical background a plus but not required

• Strong commercial awareness
• Confident communicator who can build rapport
• Customer-focused mindset with proactive relationship development
• Good networking skills across markets
• Office 365 data review and sorting for strategic decisions
• Practical experience using AI tools for sales-relevant activities
