Senior Structural Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design and deliver a wide range of structural projects within a forward-thinking consultancy in Cardiff. You will work closely with architects, clients and the design team to turn concepts into detailed, build-ready schemes. The position offers exposure to diverse sectors and a clear path for progression as the workload grows. Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design across various projects
• Produce calculations, reports and technical documentation
• Design structures using multiple materials
• Develop schemes from concept to detailed design
• Create and review technical drawings
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and design team
• Attend site visits and provide technical support
• Manage own workload and contribute to project delivery

Key requirements

• 3-4 years of relevant consultancy experience (or more)
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles
• Experience on multiple building projects
• Strong analysis, design, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
