Principal Salesforce Engineer (contract)

Overview

As a Consultant Principal Salesforce Engineer, you collaborate with Salesforce teams to shape the platform’s SDLC and technical roadmap. You’ll steer integration patterns, advise on architectural approaches, and drive transformational change using Agentic AI and Agentforce. You’ll tackle large-scale Salesforce challenges in a fast-moving fintech environment, delivering iterative improvements across the system landscape. Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery with Salesforce teams to identify challenges in the Salesforce Org and SDLC
• Shape and influence the Salesforce technical roadmap
• Advise on existing Salesforce integration patterns and SDLC, proposing improvements
• Identify and implement opportunities to invest in Agentic AI and use Agentforce for transformational change
• Assess large architectural challenges and propose iterative solutions

Key requirements

• Several years of Salesforce Developer experience with Sales and Service Cloud including Apex and LWCs
• Salesforce Certification preferred
• Experience refactoring/redesigning legacy Salesforce orgs iteratively
• Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Understanding of Software Architecture and patterns applied to Salesforce
• Experience with real-time integrations of Salesforce systems with other systems
• Familiarity with development tooling including CI/CD, Git, and packaging approaches
• Bonus: Experience with Event Driven architectures
