People Director

Overview

In this leadership role you will raise talent density and shape the People function as Capital on Tap scales. You’ll lead People, Talent and People Ops to attract exceptional talent, design organisational structures, and foster a strong culture in an AI-first operating model. Your work will directly support cross-functional impact and rapid growth across the UK offices. You will partner with the CEO and Leadership Team to embed values and build a high-performance organisation. This is an opportunity to influence how the company scales responsibly while maintaining a distinctive culture.

Key requirements

• Leadership experience in fast-growing, scaled businesses
• Proven track record of raising talent density and managing a performance-driven team
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to run People as a business function
• Clear point of view on maintaining high-performance culture and values in an AI-first context
• Bonus: experience outside People (operational, commercial, or general management)
