Senior Compliance Officer (INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY)

Overview

In this role you will support the Academic Quality and Standards team by coordinating the Academic Standard process and related procedures. You will work with the Deputy Registrar on assessment, misconduct, appeals and complaints, and act as secretary to School Level panels. Your expertise will guide colleagues on Quality and Standards matters while contributing to a busy, high-stakes academic administration environment. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Deputy Registrar to manage the Academic Standard process and associated procedures.
• Handle matters related to assessment, academic misconduct, appeals and complaints.
• Provide expert advice on Quality and Standards to senior colleagues.
• Act as secretary to School Level panels.

Key requirements

• Degree level education or equivalent with experience in a higher education environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• High attention to accuracy and detail; capable of handling a busy workload and tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective handling of enquiries.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
