NQ Solicitor - Healthcare Regulatory

Overview

In this role you will support a leading healthcare regulatory practice from Cardiff, handling end-to-end regulation work for public-interest matters. You’ll work within a nationally recognised team, contributing to investigations, hearings prep, and regulatory advice. The position offers ongoing learning and client-facing experience from day one. Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end regulatory casework from initial assessment to hearing preparation
• Conduct investigations, interview witnesses, and draft statements
• Advise on risk and interim orders as needed
• Prepare detailed reports and evidence-based recommendations
• Coordinate client communications and updates during investigations
• Collaborate with advocates to prepare cases for tribunal hearings
• Represent clients in regulatory appeals and High Court applications
• Contribute to wider regulatory advice and policy development

Key requirements

• Experience in professional regulation, ideally healthcare fitness to practise
• Strong case management skills and technical legal expertise
• Excellent communication and client care skills
