Overview

In this role you will advise organisations on UK regulatory compliance within healthcare, social care or education sectors, and lead investigations by analysing evidence, interviewing witnesses and drafting statements. You will also conduct regulatory due diligence on transactions, represent clients at inquests and public inquiries, and support judicial review and tribunal proceedings. There is scope to raise your profile through business development and sector publications. You will work within a market-leading team in Manchester, collaborating across the firm to deliver high-quality regulatory advice.

Responsibilities

• Advise on UK regulatory compliance across jurisdictions
• Run investigations: analyse evidence, interview witnesses, draft statements
• Conduct regulatory due diligence on acquisitions and disposals
• Represent clients at inquests and public inquiries
• Advise on judicial review challenges and tribunal proceedings
• Support business development and contribute to sector publications

Key requirements

• Circa 3-5 years’ PQE
• Sound knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks for healthcare, social care or education
• Experience conducting investigations in a relevant sector
• Strong analytical and drafting skills
• Excellent communication and team-working skills
• Enthusiasm for business development and networking, and for sector publications
