Site Supervisor

Overview

In this role you will oversee day-to-day site activities for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects. You will work closely with the Site Manager to keep teams coordinated, progress on schedule, and work safely to required standards. You’ll monitor workmanship, quality, and safety, and support site briefings and daily coordination. This position offers UK-wide project deployments and a meaningful impact on renewable energy delivery through hands-on supervision and problem solving. You’ll operate in a fast-paced field environment, driving progress while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise allocated work areas, site teams and subcontractor activities.
• Verify work against plans, quality standards, and safe working procedures.
• Support site briefings, toolbox talks, and daily coordination.
• Monitor progress and report defects, delays, or resource needs.
• Assist in coordinating materials, equipment, and access for planned works.

Key requirements

• Practical supervisory experience on utility-scale ground-mounted Solar PV construction projects.
• Experience coordinating site teams and monitoring subcontractor work.
• Strong focus on safety, workmanship, and daily progress.
• Appropriate industry qualifications and valid supervisory certifications.
• Temporary Works Supervisor or Coordinator experience/qualifications would be advantageous.
• BESS experience would be beneficial.
• Flexibility to travel and work away on projects across the UK.
