In this role you will lead multiple UK-wide HVAC&R projects from concept to handover, coordinating design, procurement, and execution. You will manage contractual and commercial aspects, liaise with clients and manufacturers, and ensure projects meet cost targets and quality standards. You will work closely with the Contracts team to deliver a high-quality, client-focused service. The position offers opportunities to shape HVAC solutions and drive project delivery across a varied portfolio.

Responsibilities
Design HVAC&R systems independently and with the in-house design team
Own all contractual and commercial aspects of assigned projects
Prepare and submit quotations for HVAC&R systems
Respond to tenders and RFIs professionally and promptly
Coordinate with manufacturers and clients to select equipment and materials
Analyse tender submissions before contract award
Monitor and control project costs to meet commercial targets
Act as a client-facing representative showcasing HVAC expertise
Manage multiple UK-wide projects from pre-start to handover
Define project scope, activities, and programmes clearly
Maintain project documentation per ISO 9001 quality management system
Provide leadership to installation teams and communicate with site personnel
Key requirements
Proven HVAC&R project management experience
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently with attention to detail
Capability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Commercial awareness and understanding of project financials
Ability to work independently and in a team
Knowledge of Health & Safety and environmental regulations
Experience in HVAC&R system design
Process-driven mindset
Proficient with IT systems including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word
Desirable: design/project management experience in ventilation, electrical, air conditioning, refrigeration, heating/plumbing
