Head of Facultative Property (LatAm & Caribbean)

Overview

As Head of the LatAm and Caribbean team at WTW, you will lead regional growth, client engagement, and talent development within the GB business unit. You’ll shape strategy, nurture cedant relationships, and drive profitable new and existing business across LatAm and the Caribbean. Collaborating with regional offices and reinsurers, you’ll translate client needs into effective solutions, pricing, and placement while ensuring compliance and cross-group alignment. This is a chance to steer regional performance and shape the client experience at scale.

Responsibilities

• Set growth strategy for LatAm and Caribbean within GB and manage team budget
• Attract and develop talent, including senior producers
• Understand cedants’ needs and design suitable solutions, pricing, and placement
• Build and maintain relationships with cedants, regional teams, and reinsurers
• Grow the portfolio by sourcing new opportunities and cross-selling
• Provide technical, industry, and SME input to clients and internal teams
• Ensure group policies, FCA compliance, and contract certainty are followed
• Support data loading into WTW systems and assist with contract checks and pricing structures
• Develop service plans and engagement timing with cedants
• Collaborate across BUs and with external specialists to enhance outcomes

Key requirements

• Significant prior experience in Property Broking
• Experience in LatAm and Caribbean markets
• Leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of global reinsurance markets
• Proven track record of delivering high client service
• Ability to represent WTW with integrity and credibility
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Knowledge of WTW products and services
• ACII qualification preferred or in progress
• Foreign language skills a plus
