Overview

As a Senior Electrical Engineer in our Water team, you will lead electrical and EICA design across water and wastewater projects, shaping resilient infrastructure. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver feasible, detailed designs and support construction and commissioning. You’ll mentor junior engineers and collaborate with clients, contractors, and specialists to achieve safe, sustainable outcomes. Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and EICA design across water and wastewater projects
• Contribute to feasibility, optioneering, detailed design, construction support and commissioning
• Develop and review technical deliverables (e.g., Single Line Diagrams, specifications)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders (clients, supply chain)
• Mentor and support junior engineers to strengthen team capability
• Ensure designs are safe, sustainable and efficient

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Experience delivering electrical or EICA solutions in infrastructure/utilities environments
• Understanding of electrical design principles and technical documentation
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary project delivery
• Ability to produce and review technical outputs (SLDs, specs, design docs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive problem-solving and delivery of high-quality engineering solutions
• Experience mentoring less experienced engineers
