As part of Wheely’s expanding infrastructure team, you will strengthen reliability, security, and performance across our multi-city platform. You’ll implement best practices for secure infrastructure, finalize a centralized authorization system, and build monitoring and audit capabilities to shorten incident response. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale features while maintaining high availability and privacy. This role offers hands-on impact on how millions of rides are powered safely and efficiently, with a strong emphasis on automation and DevOps culture.

Responsibilities
Implement security best practices for infrastructure
Finalize centralized authorization system for developers and services
Build comprehensive monitoring and alerting to proactively handle incidents
Ensure comprehensive access audit across infrastructure
Assist teams with incident investigations related to infrastructure
Contribute to engineering culture and DevOps practices to attract top talent
Key requirements
Proven experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS/GCP)
Ability to code in Golang, Python, etc.
Knowledge of Linux troubleshooting, including networking and file systems
Experience in infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python, etc.
Experience with containers and platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Experience with administration RabbitMQ/Nats/Kafka
Experience with administration of SQL/NoSQL databases
Strong written and verbal communication to align with team and stakeholders
Ability to focus on priorities, manage time, and deliver
Team player who helps peers and embraces automation and new tech
