Overview

In this role, you will design and deliver market-leading technology products for the Finance Technology team, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. You’ll shape technology direction within an agile environment and contribute to a culture that values DEI. You will tackle data-driven challenges, produce robust production code, and guide multiple feature teams across regions. Responsibilities

Execute software solutions, design, development, and debugging to deliver innovative results
Define and lead technology and process implementations to meet firmwide objectives
Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain synchronization with systems
Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications ensuring constraints are met
Analyze large, diverse data sets to generate visualizations and reporting
Identify data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture
Contribute to engineering communities of practice exploring new technologies
Foster a diverse, inclusive, and respectful team culture
Provide leadership and strategic direction to multiple feature teams regionally and globally

Key requirements

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability
Proficient in Java or Spark
Experience building, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern languages
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
Understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in areas like cloud, AI/ML, or mobile
Ability to solve data-oriented problems with SQL, Relational DB, Spark, NoSQL, optimizing for performance
