In this role you’ll keep our production sites running safely and efficiently as an Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Engineer. You’ll support the 4 on 4 off shift pattern and tackle maintenance across production lines, balancing planned work with rapid breakdown response. You’ll drive reliability improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging equipment
Diagnose faults and perform first-time fixes to reduce downtime
Work with electrical and mechanical systems across automated lines
Maintain health, safety and food safety standards at all times
Record work in site systems and follow engineering processes
Identify recurring issues and contribute ideas to improve reliability and performance
Collaborate with production and engineering colleagues across shifts
Escalate complex or unresolved issues per site procedures
Key requirements
Proven experience as an Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Engineer in manufacturing
Comfortable with a 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights shift pattern
Strong fault-finding on automated machinery and production equipment
Proactive, able to prioritize under pressure
High attention to detail and right-first-time mindset
