Overview
As a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer, you will lead high-performance power-management blocks for portable consumer PMICs. You join a multi-site analog/mixed-signal team and collaborate with system architects to define end-to-end power architectures. You will own architecture decisions, block bring-up, and design optimization to deliver best-in-class performance. This role combines hands-on circuit design with mentoring and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
Define and architect high-performance mixed-signal devices
Circuit design at transistor level and simulation
Present technical results to internal teams and customers
Use design verification flows to meet functional, power and timing objectives
Integrate blocks into larger mixed-signal SoCs
Support layout, lab evaluation, and test to ensure delivery
Improve analog design methodologies to reduce time-to-market
Drive power-design work including switching regulators, LDOs, charge pumps, and related control loops
Lead power block bring-up, silicon debug, and optimization across PVT variations
Collaborate with system architects on end-to-end power architectures
Mentor and supervise junior engineers and liaise across multi-site teams
Key requirements
Electronic Engineering degree with 10+ years of analog/mixed-signal IC design experience
Deep expertise in power-management circuit design (switching regulators, LDOs, charge pumps)
Experience with amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits is a plus
Strong leadership, interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
Ability to own products from architecture to implementation and debug
Experience integrating PM and analog blocks into complex SoCs or MCUs is advantageous
Some travel required (up to 10%)
Capability to conduct technical presentations to internal teams and customers
