Site Engineer II (Day)

Overview

In this role you will maintain and troubleshoot critical data center infrastructure to ensure reliable operations. You will manage maintenance tasks, support incident response, and drive safety and SLA adherence. You’ll supervise junior engineers, document progress, and contribute to procedural improvements. This is a hands-on position in a mission-critical environment with a clear focus on delivering safe, efficient, data-driven facilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety policy adherence and operational efficiency across the site
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs, including subcontractors
• Handle on-call duty and incident management
• Document progress, issues, and outcomes, and implement improvements
• Supervise Site Engineers I, including task assignment and performance development
• Write and review operating procedures and assist planning of critical maintenance/change requests

Key requirements

• Experience in mission critical operations and maintenance of large scale electrotechnical and/or Electrical and Mechanical systems
• Technical education/training in mission critical operations; HVAC/mechanical and/or electrical background
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work in shifts
• Vocational-level education in a technical field and/or site engineering position
• Knowledge of high/low voltage distribution, cooling systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS)

• Attention to detail
• High and Low Voltage Power Distribution (switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators)
• Cooling Systems (Chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, cooling towers, pumps)
