In this role you will help build core bespoke technology for the firm, focusing on scalable, distributed systems. You will work in a small, specialized team that drives high-quality code and advocates modern frameworks, including .Net core, with cloud-first thinking. You will collaborate across teams to deliver impactful, technology-driven solutions that support the firm’s global trading operations. This is a chance to shape essential systems at scale in a flat, collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
- build and evolve core bespoke technology used company-wide
- design and implement scalable distributed systems for large data volumes
- work with .Net core and latest frameworks to enable cloud-first architecture
- adhere to collaborative engineering practices (agile, TDD, BDD, CI) and promote high-quality code
Key requirements
- 4+ years’experience with the Microsoft framework including .Net & some experience using .Net Core
- strong experience building out scalable distributed systems handling large data volumes
- proficiency and passion for collaborative software engineering techniques (agile, TDD, BDD, continuous integration)
