In this Lead DevOps role, you will architect, deploy and optimise Azure-based cloud platforms to support high-security Defence and Government programmes. You’ll steer DevOps and platform teams, drive automation and reliability, and embed secure practices across a hybrid London environment. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver secure Azure cloud capabilities at scale. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape resilient, compliant cloud solutions for critical UK customers.

Design, deploy and optimise cloud platforms in secure environments
Lead DevOps and platform engineering teams
Drive automation, CI/CD and reliable operations
Implement IaC and secure deployment practices
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure Azure capabilities
Key requirements
Active SC Clearance with expiry after 2030
Azure cloud engineering and architecture expertise
Experience leading DevOps and platform engineering teams
Hands-on with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Deployments
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
CI/CD pipeline design and automation
Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, Git, PowerShell and scripting
Experience delivering solutions within Defence, Government, or other secure environments
