Civil Engineer - Civil to Principal Civil Engineer (Water) - Expressions of Interest

Overview

In this role you will contribute to the delivery of water sector projects within Stantec’s UK offices. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop solutions from feasibility through to detailed design, supporting and sometimes leading other civil engineers. The role offers exposure to AMP8 projects and opportunities to collaborate with renowned colleagues on award‑winning initiatives. You will operate in a values‑driven, people‑focused culture that emphasizes development and impact in communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions from needs identification through to outline and detailed design
• Collaborate with other disciplines to integrate civil solutions
• Support and lead other civil engineers on project teams
• Deliver designs and design deliverables within agreed timescales and budgets

Key requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Chartered status desired (membership of a relevant engineering institution)
• Experience in the water industry with design and construction knowledge
• Ability to work in teams and mentor others
• Track record of delivering designs on time and within budget
