Overview

In this role, you will support engineering, new product introduction and continuous improvement within the plant. You’ll work with cross-functional teams across Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance to drive KPI improvements, ensure on-time production, and reduce scrap. You will manage engineering changes from design through to production and support electro-pneumatic test equipment. You’ll partner with NPI engineers to implement new products and processes on existing and new lines. This is a hands-on role in a safety-focused, collaborative environment with real impact on manufacturing performance.

Responsibilities

Drive cross-functional actions to improve plant KPIs (production attainment, efficiency, quality, scrap reduction)
Manage and implement engineering change requests from design to production
Support electro-pneumatic production test equipment and monitor key process parameters
Recommend data-driven corrective actions based on monitoring results
Collaborate with NPI Project engineers to implement new products and process improvements on production lines

Key requirements

Background in Mechanical / Electrical / Process engineering with manufacturing experience
Ideally degree level; HNC or relevant qualifications with industrial experience considered
Experience with automated assembly management systems and production IT systems
Proven track record delivering value and solving internal customer problems with urgency
Strong cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills
Practical problem-solving approach using A3 / 8D methodologies and data-driven decisions
