Responsibilities
Improve platforms for smoother interaction and use of infrastructure across teams through design and development
Establish guidelines to reduce redundancy and promote reuse across the company
Automate intricate manual tasks across multiple systems
Provide guidance and support to fellow engineers in maintaining systems
Evaluate modern technologies and development methodologies for integration
Maintain and update existing infrastructure and tools as needed
Participate in discussions about third-party systems from a commercial perspective
Key requirements
Proficiency in Go (also Python or C)
Strong automation experience
Solid Linux experience (RedHat/Debian), TCP/IP networking, and storage technologies
Excellent experience with Git, IDEs, CI/CD, and test-driven development
