Project Controls Engineer

Overview

As a Project Controls Engineer in our Edinburgh office, you will support multi-sector projects with robust planning, analytics and reporting. You will work within the Project Controls Team to drive governance, risk and performance management, collaborating with multiple clients to maintain schedule momentum. The role combines planning bias with clear communication to ensure project objectives are met. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape controls and reporting across diverse programmes.

Responsibilities

• Collate progress data from multiple teams to update Primavera P6 schedules
• Collate cost data to support budget requests and update cost reports
• Prepare monthly reports measuring progress against baseline
• Support the Project Controls Manager on governance and assurance of controls processes

Key requirements

• Experience in a project control environment
• Experience in project/programme management delivery or controls
• Experience using Primavera P6, Power BI, and Microsoft Office
• Autonomous and able to work in a team
• Strong time management and meeting deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of Project Controls concepts
• Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline (typical)
