Responsibilities
Lead delivery of fire strategies across healthcare, education, commercial, residential, life sciences, and regeneration projects
Provide technical guidance through concept to handover, including modelling and regulatory compliance
Oversee fire and smoke modeling (CFD), evacuation modeling, and smoke control strategies
Act as Technical Lead on major bids and complex multidisciplinary schemes
Build and maintain client relationships; lead meetings, workshops, and regulatory consultations
Support growth of the Fire Engineering service and contribute to bid writing and strategic pursuits
Mentor Fire Engineers and promote technical excellence and knowledge sharing
Lead internal initiatives and contribute to thought leadership within the Fire Engineering community
Key requirements
Extensive experience producing fire strategies for complex buildings
Proficient in FDS, PyroSim, Pathfinder or similar modelling tools
Strong communication skills for presenting to clients
Experience in a consultancy environment with multidisciplinary projects
Proactive, collaborative mindset aligned to company values
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards with IFE or equivalent
