Overview

In this role you will lead large residential construction sites in Oxford for a well-established housebuilder. You’ll oversee site teams, report to the Project Manager, and ensure delivery across multiple phases on two major projects. The position focuses on quality-focused build delivery using timber frame, RC frame, and traditional methods. This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear impact on on-site performance and safety.

Pay / Benefits

• 50,000 - 55,000 + package

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate site teams and assistant site managers to achieve project targets
• Coordinate daily on-site activities across multiple phases
• Monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance on construction sites
• Communicate with Project Manager and stakeholders to report status and issues
• Oversee implementation of timber frame, RC frame, and traditional construction methods
• Ensure adherence to project plan, schedule, and budget

Key requirements

• Proven track record with a reputable housebuilder as No.1 Site Manager
• Strong people management and motivation capabilities
• Experience with RC frame, timber frame, and traditional construction methods
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
• Commute to Oxford on a daily basis
