Responsibilities
Lead and manage multidiscipline engineering teams to deliver safe, compliant designs
Define engineering delivery strategies and maintain cost, scope, and schedule baselines
Provide technical direction and approve engineering solutions and outputs
Ensure compliance with UK regulations, legislation, standards, and internal processes
Support bids and business-winning activities by preparing technical proposals
Identify and mitigate risks, implementing recovery plans as necessary
Engage with internal teams, clients, and the supply chain for integrated project planning
Foster a collaborative culture and mentor team members to develop capability
Key requirements
Professionally registered engineer (or working towards)
Degree-level qualification (Level 6) in a relevant discipline
Proven track record in managing engineering delivery and leading teams
Strong knowledge of UK engineering legislation (e.g., CDM, PUWER, Machinery Directive)
Experience managing complex projects, including budgets and schedules
Ability to provide technical assurance and ensure design compliance
