Residential Conveyancer

Overview

In this role you will manage a diverse residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion within a well-established law firm. You will support clients, agents, lenders and colleagues while ensuring compliant, timely progress and high standards of client care. You’ll contribute to business development by strengthening client relationships and upholding professional standards. Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of residential conveyancing files (sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, lease extensions)
• Manage each transaction from start to finish with focus on efficiency and client care
• Oversee file progress and ensure timely, professional handling
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Contribute to business development by building and maintaining client relationships

Key requirements

• 2+ years of PQE
• Experience handling residential conveyancing matters
• Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures (freehold and leasehold)
• Experience in a CQS-accredited environment or familiarity with conveyancing protocols
• Case management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
