Responsibilities

• Design and develop optical systems for medical devices
• Lead simulation, prototyping and testing of device components and subsystems
• Move concepts from initial idea to manufacturing-ready solutions
• Collaborate across mechanical, physics and electronics disciplines
• Contribute to design capability enhancement and problem solving within the team

Key requirements

• Proven experience in design and development of optical systems
• Strong academic fundamentals in physics or mechanical engineering
• Hands-on experience with optical design tools (e.g., ZEMAX, OSLO)
• Ideally knowledge of medical devices or regulated industries
