Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Golang backend services and microservices architectures
Collaborate with product, engineering and business stakeholders to deliver solutions
Contribute to system design, architecture, and engineering best practices
Support deployment, operation and performance of applications in containerised environments
Enable integrations with leading applications and services and deliver scalable, resilient systems
Participate in data-driven feature work and improvements across the stack

Key requirements

Strong commercial experience Backend development in Golang
Experience building and supporting microservices architectures
Experience deploying and operating in containerised environments (ideally Kubernetes)
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
Experience in agile development environments
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across the application stack (network, server, database)
Experience building concurrent, distributed applications at scale
Experience working with DevOps or SRE teams to support production environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for learning, continuous improvement and high-quality software
