In this role you will develop and monitor project cost budgets, track expenditures, and provide financial reporting to support robust project control across the lifecycle. You’ll assist senior cost professionals, ensuring budgets align with contractual requirements and Wood standards. You will analyse actual versus forecasted costs, support cost reporting, and help maintain accurate WBS/CBS structures. This is a global, multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering value in energy and materials projects.

Responsibilities
Prepare and report project cost budgets and forecasts
Analyse actual vs forecasted costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets
Develop, maintain and review WBS and CBS for scopes
Coordinate with procurement, finance and subcontractors to capture costs
Produce cost performance reports and cost change orders
Monitor cost commitments and expenditures across project lifecycle
Support project cost close-out and change management processes
Attend project meetings and liaise with planning for cost phasing and forecasting
Key requirements
ISCED level 6 (Bachelor) in a relevant technical or business discipline
Proven cost experience in project environments
Proficient with cost software and budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow
Knowledge of Project Execution Procedures for Cost Management and Change Management
Understanding of WBS & CBS structures and project reporting
Ability to develop and maintain project cost budgets and change estimates
Experience with earned value, cost and schedule variance analyses
