We are currently recruiting for an experienced School Caretaker to provide temporary cover at a busy secondary school in Oxford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and proactive individual with previous caretaking, facilities, maintenance, or site support experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and securing the school premises
• Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs
• Setting up rooms for school and evening activities
• Conducting regular site inspections
• Ensuring the school remains clean, safe and compliant
• Responding to minor maintenance issues as they arise
• Supporting health & safety procedures across the site
• Liaising with contractors and school staff when required

Requirements:

• Previous caretaker, maintenance or facilities experience
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (required)
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Reliable, professional and well-presented
• Available to start immediately
