Structural Engineer

I'm currently working with a highly regarded independent structural engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to join its growing team in central London, near Euston. This role would suit someone who enjoys solving challenging engineering problems, values collaboration and is looking to build a long-term career within an ambitious and supportive consultancy.What’s On OfferExposure to an exceptionally varied portfolio of projects across multiple sectors.Excellent Chartership support with experienced mentors and a structured development programme.Regular company trips abroad and team events that reward success and strengthen collaboration.Clear opportunities for career progression within a growing and ambitious consultancy.A genuinely supportive culture where your ideas are valued and your professional development is prioritised.What You Need To SucceedApproximately four to five years' structural design experience within a UK engineering consultancy.Experience designing structures in a range of materials, including steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.Competent using industry-standard structural design software (such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Robot or similar).Working knowledge of relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities and a desire to take ownership of projects.Chartered Engineer status with the IStructE/ICE, or close to achieving it, is desirable.A strong academic background with a BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
