We are passionate about tackling the complex and sophisticated challenges of the built environment and delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to create accessible, resilient and liveable communities.What you’ll do:This role will see you become a leader, thereby enhancing your capabilities and the reputation of WSP’s Property and Buildings team. You will collaborate with talented and diverse professionals working on iconic projects to drive future ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.Work on iconic projectsManage ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with clients;Lead and deliver current civil engineering projects from inception through to construction in support of technical and commercial standards, and within time constraints and cost budgets;Work in a varied, hands-on role with a leadership angle across design management, superintendency and site surveillanceDelegate and supervise the work of junior engineers, and;Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.At WSP, you can access our global scale, contribute to landmark projects and connect with the brightest minds in your field to do the best work of your life. You can experience a world of opportunity and the chance to shape a career as unique as you.About YouBachelor to Masters’ level degree (Civil Engineering)Chartered status with Engineers Australia (desirable)Relevant industry experience on Australian or NZ civil engineering projects from a selection of sectors is essential, e.g. commercial, residential, industrial, land development including stormwater design and management.3 - 5 years’ experience as a Civil Engineer in the Property and Building space within consulting.Well versed in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging in scale and sector, e.g. commercial, residential, industrial, land development, subdivisions and infrastructure/roads;Strong client relationship management and project management skills;Sound working knowledge of relevant Aus/NZ Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3500, NCC etc.);Proficiency with 12D and Civil 3D highly desirable ;Highly developed customer-focus, leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.Proficiency in stormwater programme ‘DRAINS’ would be highly desirableProficiency in water quality programme ‘MUSIC’ would be desirableAt WSP you’ll find the scale and reach you need to do the kind of work the world needs – and the culture and people that make it the best work of your life.Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
