Calibration Engineer

Calibration EngineerWe are looking for someone to carry out the Calibration of HORIBA instruments and third-party instruments associated with our business / products both in house and at customer premises. In addition, provide technical advice and guidance to customers and colleagues ensuring the highest levels of service.What you’ll be doing:Carrying out calibration of HORIBA products both in house and on customer sites.Providing support to the Calibration Technical Manager including but not limited to assisting with maintaining the UKAS Accreditation.Responsible for calibration process procedure development and updating of specified documentation and procedures/processes.Ensuring HORIBA UK calibration equipment is fit for purpose and regularly maintained and Calibrated as per requirements.Preparing Calibration Certificates for calibrated equipment.Identifying faults/problems together with proving effective solutions.Maintaining internal and external calibration recordsWhat we’re looking for:Experience in calibrationExcellent organisation and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks in a busy environmentConfidence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)A proactive, team-focused approachMechanical or Electrical technical experienceWhy HORIBA UK?We offer a flexible benefits package which includes pension, life insurance, private medical, cash plan, company sick pay, holiday purchase, birthday leave, enhanced maternity and paternity leave and so much more!HORIBA UK value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
