Project Engineer

50000 - 55000 per annumManchester, EnglandPermanentOur client is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of planned and reactive water maintenance projects across the North West. This permanent, hybrid role will oversee a portfolio of small capital maintenance projects, working across civil engineering, MEICA and wider water infrastructure activities.Key Responsibilities:Provide whole-life oversight of projects from design, procurement and assembly through to commissioning and handoverLead the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance projects across the water networkCoordinate multidisciplinary project activities, including civil engineering and MEICA worksEnsure supply chain partners comply with framework management plans and project requirementsPromote a strong health and safety culture and support the prevention of incidentsMaintain a commercial focus by reviewing project scope and identifying efficient delivery strategiesBuild effective relationships with client stakeholders, operational teams, supply chain partners and wider project personnelMonitor project performance, identify risks early and ensure accurate reporting through relevant systemsJob Requirements:Experience managing multidisciplinary projects, including civil engineering and MEICA works, preferably within the water sectorA successful track record of project delivery in a dynamic and regulated environmentUnderstanding of construction contractsStrong stakeholder management skillsGood knowledge of project reporting, risk management and supply chain coordinationComputer competence, including Microsoft Word, Excel, document control systems and Primavera softwareHNC, HND or degree in a relevant engineering disciplineSMSTS qualification or IOSH Managing SafelyRelevant CSCS cardIf you have experience delivering civil engineering and water projects and are looking for a permanent Project Engineer role with hybrid working, apply now.
