Pay : Starting from £12.87 an hour; increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

Hours : Minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; flexible to a minimum of 12 hours.

Availability Window

• Sunday: 11:00–17:00
• Monday: 11:30–21:00
• Saturday: 12:00–21:00

We will schedule contracted hours within these windows and provide at least 3 weeks' notice of shift times. Flexibility is welcomed if your availability closely matches the advertised times.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation of our modern pharmacy.
• Accurately dispense medicines with strong customer focus.
• Dispense prescription medicines, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Engage customers, offering information confidently and professionally.
• Provide information on common ailments, symptoms and products.
• Understand customers' needs, explain product benefits and recommend appropriate items.
• Advise customers on available pharmacy services.
• Deliver pharmacy services and dispensing process according to SOP.
• Assess legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
• Handle clinical and legal queries from healthcare practitioners within competence.
• Respond to customer queries regarding prescription medicines and inform the pharmacist of complaints.
• Ensure dispensary routines and SOPs are followed.
• Maintain clean, tidy, and clutter‑free dispensary and consulting rooms.
• Complete all prescription administration accurately and on time.
• Implement promotional activities and company initiatives with the team.
• Carry out procedures accurately to protect profit and trade safely and legally.
• Complete corporate and departmental training.
• Keep up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Qualifications from working in a pharmacy environment.
• Desire to train and develop into the pharmacy field.
