The Opportunity

A highly regarded, Legal 500-ranked law firm is looking to expand its dispute resolution teams with opportunities across their departments focusing on commercial litigation matters.

The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal advice across a diverse client base, combining technical expertise with a practical, client-focused approach and a supportive working environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Solicitor, from NQ level upwards, to join an established team and develop their expertise in commercial litigation and dispute resolution .

The firm is open to candidates from a range of litigation backgrounds who are keen to broaden their experience and build a career in commercial disputes.

The Role

You will work on a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters, working alongside experienced litigators and gaining exposure to a broad range of contentious work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and progressing a varied caseload of commercial disputes.
• Handling matters involving breach of contract, debt recovery, shareholder and director disputes, professional negligence and general business disputes.
• Supporting clients throughout the litigation process, from pre-action correspondence through to trial and enforcement.
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, legal correspondence and other court documentation.
• Undertaking legal research and developing effective case strategies.
• Advising clients on dispute resolution options and achieving commercially focused outcomes.
• Building strong client relationships and working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm.

About You

We are keen to hear from Solicitors who have:

• NQ+ PQE with experience in litigation, dispute resolution or contentious legal work.
• A background in civil litigation, commercial litigation, housing litigation, personal injury, debt recovery or a related disputes area.
• Strong technical ability and a genuine interest in developing a career in commercial disputes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A client-focused approach and the ability to deliver practical, commercially minded advice.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A collaborative attitude and the ambition to develop within a growing team.

You don't need to have a purely commercial litigation background — candidates with transferable litigation experience who are keen to move into commercial disputes will also be considered.
