Marina Operative

Are you looking to build a career in the marine industry? Do you enjoy variety, responsibility, and working as part of a dedicated team? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

Premier Marinas is seeking to recruit a Marina Operative to join our friendly and professional team at Weymouth Marina on the stunning Jurassic Coast.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. With full training provided, you’ll develop valuable new skills while helping us deliver the exceptional customer experience we're known for.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role involving a range of duties across the marina. You’ll work as part of a rota, which will include some weekends and bank holidays.

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

• Friendly, customer-focused, and confident communicating with a wide range of people
• Confident using computer systems, electronic point of sales systems and processing financial transactions.
• Positive, enthusiastic, and happy to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a busy marine environment, often in adverse weather conditions.
• Reliable, adaptable, and keen to learn new skills
• Able to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Flexible with working hours, including weekends and bank holidays
• Boating or marina experience is an advantage—but not essential, as full training will be provided
• The ability to speak a foreign language would be an advantage but not essential.

Experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow with us.

Premier Marinas offers a competitive salary and pension, 24/7 access to an online GP, Private Medical Cover, free onsite parking, annual leave equivalent to 33 days and other benefits, alongside training and development opportunities delivered through our dedicated online academy.

At Premier Marinas, we believe diversity makes us stronger. We treat all applicants equally and with respect, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.

Note: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK on start of contract will be required. Our Applicant Privacy Notice is available on our website.

Closing date for applications is Sunday 1st November 2026 although we reserve the right appoint prior to the closing date. Successful applicants will be contacted within 2 weeks of that date.
