Job Opportunity: Marina Operative Location: Weymouth Marina Contract: Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week

Are you looking to build a career in the marine industry? Do you enjoy variety, responsibility, and working as part of a dedicated team? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

Premier Marinas is seeking to recruit a Marina Operative to join our friendly and professional team at Weymouth Marina. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. With full training provided, you'll develop valuable new skills while helping us deliver the exceptional customer experience we're known for.

This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role involving a range of duties across the marina. You'll work as part of a rota, which will include some weekends and bank holidays.

What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you are:

Friendly, customer-focused, and confident communicating with a wide range of people
Confident using computer systems, electronic point of sales systems and processing financial transactions.
Positive, enthusiastic, and happy to work as part of a team
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a busy marine environment, often in adverse weather conditions.
Reliable, adaptable, and keen to learn new skills
Able to remain calm and professional under pressure
Flexible with working hours, including weekends and bank holidays
Boating or marina experience is an advantage—but not essential, as full training will be provided
The ability to speak a foreign language would be an advantage but not essential.

Experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow with us.

What We Offer

As part of the Premier Marinas' team, you'll enjoy:

Competitive pay
33 days annual leave
Private medical cover
Access to an online GP service, 7 days a week
Free onsite parking
Uniform & PPE provided
Training and development through the Premier Marinas' Online Academy

If you're enthusiastic about the role but don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply—you might be exactly who we're looking for.

Our Commitment to Diversity

We believe that diversity makes us stronger. We will treat all applicants equally and with respect irrespective of their age, disability, gender reassign… marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
