Foster4 Assessing Social Worker

Join our dedicated regional fostering hub, Foster4 to recruit and assess the next generation of foster carers and help us deliver excellent outcomes for children and families. You will focus on high-quality assessments with no case management or placement duties. Your focus will be on producing high-quality assessments, overseeing the foster carer journey from expression of interest to approval. You will conduct initial home visits to evaluate prospective foster carers and complete comprehensive assessments within statutory timescales, presenting detailed assessment reports clearly to the regional Fostering Panel. Based within Warrington Borough Council, this role requires working flexibly across the wider Cheshire and Merseyside region as needed. The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. As well as a competitive salary, working for us means you get:
