Children’s Speech and Language Therapy

Full time 37.5 hrs per week

If so, we’d love to hear from you. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Team in Coventry. Whether you are looking for your first Band 6 role or you are already an experienced Band 6 therapist, we can offer a rewarding role with excellent opportunities for support and professional development. You will work with children and young people aged 0–19 years, supporting a wide range of speech, language and communication needs across a variety of settings. Our therapists work collaboratively with families, education settings and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure children and young people achieve the best possible outcomes.

The Children’s Speech & Language Therapy Team aims to provide a high quality service to children, young people and their families. We provide assessment, interventions, and advice to children and young people aged 0-19 with a Coventry GP. We also support children in Coventry special schools and specialist settings with an Education, Health & Care Plan. We have developed clinical pathways and a competency programme in Speech, Language, Voice , Stammering, Dysphagia, Deafness, Cleft Palate, Alternative & Augmentative Communication and young children "At Risk" of SLCN.
