About The Role

OPTIMIND is seeking a dedicated Psychologist to become a part of our multidisciplinary team. This role involves conducting psychological assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies to clients across a diverse age range. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other mental health professionals to provide holistic care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose and understand clients' mental health conditions.
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based psychological therapies.
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address a wide range of mental health issues.
Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals to provide integrated care.
Participate in case conferences and contribute to the multidisciplinary team's discussions and decisions.
Maintain up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with professional standards.
Engage in continuous professional development and stay abreast of the latest psychological research and methodologies.

Qualifications

A master's or doctoral degree in Psychology.
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist.
Proven experience in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Strong clinical skills with expertise in applying evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport with clients.
A compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a commitment to client-centered practices.
