Our Vision is ‘A world in which everyone’s potential to live a good life is fulfilled’. We believe a ‘good life’ is one filled with the ordinary – the things we often take for granted. Love, friendship, belonging and the opportunity to use our skills and talents in places that appreciate them.
The Supported Living Administrator will support the work of Service Managers to ensure that the people SOL works for have the best possible care and support and are enabled to live the life of their choosing.
The quality of the service SOL provides is dependent on the ability of the Supported Living Administrator to efficiently and effectively plan and coordinate the supportive structures that facilitate excellent care and support.
As a key resource for frontline service delivery the post holder will work alongside the people we support and their staff teams to ensure that all administrative operations run efficiently and smoothly.
Work in partnership with Service Managers to ensure that SOL can evidence best practice as required by external regulatory bodies such as the Care Inspectorate and Local Authority.
1. The Supported Living Administrator will ensure that the following events are planned and that evidence to support these is appropriately recorded in line with KPI’s. Duties include diarising meetings, sending invite letters/texts & minute taking at meetings as required.
2. To communicate requested rota information to SOL Connect, staff teams and families.
3. To ensure the effective, efficient, and timely flow of information to and from SOLs services.
4. Complete scanning, indexing, and filing of the people we work for documents.
5. To ensure that all paperwork in relation to the people we work for is available in people’s homes as required.
6. Provide front of house cover e.g. greet visitors to SOL and answer incoming calls.
7. To be flexible – very occasionally some duties may take place out with normal working hours.
8. Provide annual leave cover for colleagues.
9. Maintain our information management systems and provide ongoing support to staff in relation to the use of these.
10. Any other associated duties that may be reasonably requested.
Please Note: This job description describes the practical purpose and main elements of the job. It is a guide to the nature and main duties of the job as they exist currently, but it is not intended as a wholly comprehensive or permanent schedule.
