Assistant General Manager

About the Role

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for leading and operating a successful DL Club, ensuring members receive an excellent experience every day. Working closely with the General Manager, the role involves implementing strategies to drive club targets and member experience, while maintaining smooth operations and adherence to health and safety and compliance regulations. The role is people-focused and requires full accountability for the club's performance. The position is part of Europe's leading premium health and wellness group, where team members are considered the heart of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and operate a successful DL Club with full accountability.
• Ensure members receive an excellent experience every day, 7 days a week.
• Work closely with the General Manager to implement strategies to drive club targets and member experience.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including adherence to health and safety and compliance regulations.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Experience managing a large operational service delivery facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).
• Experience leading a variety of functions with variable challenges and goals, or across variable departments.
• Experience of financial planning and management.
• Passionate about customer service.
