Sales Support Administrator – Temp to Perm

Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Hourly Rate: £12.82 – £14.36 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (37.5 paid hours per week)
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent

Talented People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sales Support Administrator to join their established team in Crawley on a temp-to-perm basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and issuing accurate customer quotations, working closely with the sales team.
• Processing customer purchase orders and maintaining accurate order records.
• Coordinating delivery dates with colleagues and suppliers, keeping customers updated.
• Following up on outstanding quotations, orders and delivery queries.
• Managing customer service enquiries via telephone and email, taking ownership through to resolution.
• Providing day-to-day administrative support to the sales team and assisting with customer account queries.
• Maintaining accurate customer information and records within internal systems.
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure orders are processed and progressed efficiently.
• Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and support team efficiency.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in sales support, office administration, order processing or customer service would be advantageous.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach, with the confidence to use their own initiative.
• A genuine willingness to learn new skills, develop their knowledge and take on new responsibilities.
• The ability to recognise priorities and identify tasks that need attention without always needing direction.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
• Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
• A willingness to support colleagues and contribute to the wider success of the team.
• A positive, motivated approach with a genuine desire to do well and develop within the business.

Whilst previous administration or sales support experience would be beneficial, attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally important. Our client is particularly interested in someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, looks for opportunities to contribute and wants to grow with the business.
