Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Talented People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sales Support Administrator to join their established team in Crawley on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and issuing accurate customer quotations, working closely with the sales team.
• Processing customer purchase orders and maintaining accurate order records.
• Coordinating delivery dates with colleagues and suppliers, keeping customers updated.
• Following up on outstanding quotations, orders and delivery queries.
• Managing customer service enquiries via telephone and email, taking ownership through to resolution.
• Providing day-to-day administrative support to the sales team and assisting with customer account queries.
• Maintaining accurate customer information and records within internal systems.
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure orders are processed and progressed efficiently.
• Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and support team efficiency.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in sales support, office administration, order processing or customer service would be advantageous.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach, with the confidence to use their own initiative.
• A genuine willingness to learn new skills, develop their knowledge and take on new responsibilities.
• The ability to recognise priorities and identify tasks that need attention without always needing direction.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
• Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
• A willingness to support colleagues and contribute to the wider success of the team.
• A positive, motivated approach with a genuine desire to do well and develop within the business.

Whilst previous administration or sales support experience would be beneficial, attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally important.
